Process
I Styled my Frye boots with pieces in my closet that I love!
I had photos taken of me on the street I live in, outside my favorite coffee shop, in the Libary, on campus etc.
I wanted to showcase the boots how I'd wear them, in outfits that work for school, work, and going out.
Showcase my own authentic style by styling the iconic Campus boot in real VCU settings. The goal is to capture genuine moments of student life that reflect the creativity and individuality of the VCU community.
Collaboration…
I collaborated mainly with my my two roommates Alexia and Kyra to take photos and videos of me in my boots. As well as my friends Jack and Emily, who held ring lights for some nighttime content. I explained my vision to them, directed shots and changed/altered things as we went. It was a collaborative effort to get the right shots and content that I envisioned in my head.
